Laptop lcd to desktop lcd

Okay. So I have an ancient laptop from like 98-2000. The laptop itself is complete junk and hardly even works. I took it apart and salvaged the lcd screen which is in perfect condition. I want to use it as a second monitor or even one that I can mount inside my computer case in the window.

The lcd is a Mitsubishi AA12SB6C-ADFD

My video card on my desktop has VGA and DVI outputs.

Any help on this would be wonderful. ty in advance.

Theres a way but it costs so much and it requires a amount of work that its cheaper to go to microcenter and buy another one.

For all intents and purposes, it's impossible*.


*To be able to do this, you'd need an extreme amount of coding skill and know how to custom code and wire FPGA display drivers. (To put that into perspective, not a single person on this forum to date has ever had the knowledge of FPGAs.)
