xbox in pc case
« on: May 30, 2010, 03:06:05 PM »
so,
it's my birthday comming up, should get a bit of money together.
i was thinking about putting an xbox 360 in a pc case.
but there's a couple things i'm not sure about,

1) which case to use (cheap but not too cheap)
2) how to extend the power button, or use the existing one on the pc case
3) how to mount the mobo
4) watercooling... (yes, no, maybe?)

i think i'll use a mini ATX case, like maybe a cube case or something,
really keen on the water cooling idea, but i've never done it before and don't fancy ruining an xbox o.0

if you can answer these/some questions that'd be great :)

i'll be sure to post a worklog when i get going.

cheers

I think you should get a mid tower.  Mounting the mobo would pretty much the same as mounting a computer mobo.  You should jtag it if your able too and add a 1tb hard drive, and liquid cool it.

thing is tho,
haven't got a pc that i can jtag it with, only got this  :censored: laptop
so the mobo would fit pretty much perfectly on a mid tower?
never done water cooling so it could be an experiance.
any other answers would be great :D
