My last questions
« on: May 19, 2010, 05:19:38 PM »
Ok just first let me say I am sorry about posting so much and after I am done fixing my psp's backlight ill slow up allot.

Well I just put my backlight fuse under a test with my multimeter and the results are kind of weird.

Well I put my negative probe on a ground and the positive on the fuse and the needle did not move when I put it on one side but the needle moved when I put it on the other side, does that mean my fuse has become disconnected on one side or that my backlight shot to hell?

And if my backlight is blown please tell me where to buy a new one.(preferably one that has the metal cage already on)

think about it. if the fuse is blown, the positive side connected to ground would have current, but the negative side wouldn't have any because theres no power source. it's the fuse, just bridge it with solder or cut the traces and put a wire over it (i'd bridge it)

dude, you can post as much as you want but when you are posting about the same problem, keep it in the same thread. it gets marked as new when you reply so we can all see there is an update. this is for two reasons, 1 so people trying to help can see the history of your problem and the steps you have already taken, and 2. to keep the forum organised.

solder over the fuse. (conect both sides of the fuse with solder)

ok this is going to be my only thread for this problem and I did not know it popped up as new when someone posted.

and admin can you delete my other threads on this subject? thanks if you can.

and about the bridge I use a wire that connects both sides of the fuse or just coat solder all over the fuse its self?

thanks

Ok I have a new question(s).

(1) how to fix my psp 1000's analog stick? it is not responsive at all.

(2) Is there a way to fix a bruise on a LCD screen? it is a little spot.

Thanks in advanced.
