HELP LED Wiring CG
« on: August 06, 2010, 10:06:25 PM »
Ok, so i am a noob here. Iv'e used the tutorials a lot but haven't posted much.

Anyways, i i would like to know how to use two separate LED's rather than player 3 and 4 LED's for the T0pFire mod. i have two and i know where i want them. but i don't know how to wire them or what resistance they need...

my controller is a wireless CG. and again it is the T0PFire mod. thanks in advance..

the top fire chip will supply your positive leed for the new led, the negative for the led can come from any ground point, I would say use the battery ground.

as for resistance, the chips output V is the same as its input so use 3V for supply and look up a led resistor calculator to find what resistor you need.

Yea like matt said wire the TF to the positive and the neg. to a ground and it should work.  Wouldn't see why not . GL with this mod tho.

Surely you can afford THIS?

That would give you everything you need for this mod.
