Hold mod led
« on: November 08, 2010, 08:27:23 AM »
Well i don't know if already posted here or somewhere else but i will post it.
I found it when i "played" with my "Frankenstein" psp.
You bored to see the yellow plastic when you hold your psp ?
Do you want a cool led in the yellow plastic's case while you hold your psp ?
Then just solder two cables in the places that arrows shows. ;)

Here is a video that i found which it seems that someone already done this so you can see how it looks: x4 psp hold led indicator

I am waiting your feedback. :D

Enjoy it :D

I was actually thinking the exact opposite, I would probably have this mod as long as it is still off when the psp is shutdown. I've seen times when the power led stays on when the psp is off. That would suck, but other than that, I'd do it.

Thanks guys ^^
The led stays on if you solder it in wrong place.  :winker:
I did it once and it was always on.

LOL Acidmod users have been using the hold and wifi switch for years. although you left out one of the most important parts. to safely do this you must cut the trace leading to the bottom pin of your switch. here is a diagram using the lm386, but the principal is the same. you are using the bottom pin to ground your circut.

ASPIN:

If you dont cut the trace, you probably wont have to worry about it for long. if you leave the switch centered too long that sucker may burn up, as your dumping additional voltage into the system.
