First PS3 controller mod (LED's)

hey guys whats up. im starting to get into modding my ps3 stuff. the first thing i modded was my friends controller..... but this isnt it. this is actually my 2nd ps3 controller mod but i consider it my first b.c all i did was do an LED swap with his controller and put blue led in the home button. after that i got ideas. this is one of them. im going to be modding my ps3 slim soon soo ill be on =D.
i dont really want to do a rapid fire controller b.c i consider it cheating =] lol. and im not totally sure on how to do it.

Looks sharp. The bleeding through of the light is a little blah though. A little electric tape will fix that if your interested in opening it up again.

makes me want to get a white controller so i can do it. have you tried with any other colors?
i ave used blue and green on my other friends controller. it looks pretty cool with a blue controller

looks nice. Im going to be lighting up my first ps3 controller pretty soon (dpad and face buttons). Did you get your power by wiring it to the first and second player leds?

Hmm you have confused me, how are you going to do this, the dpad and facebuttons are opaque and gray, so no color of light will bleed through them, I don't understand how you are going to light them up??

nope just used the 1 and 2 player led's to light them up... im not that smartlol

i think he means through the cracks on the sides of the buttons an the faceplate. unless he has clear buttons

sorry about the confusion, i am getting clear buttons shipped in which would allow it to light up.

he already answered it dude, yes he used those two, thats why when he plugs it in to charge you get the dual color effect

im just glad to see that theres more interest in ps3 modding. most we had before was that one dude who modded ps3 slims
