can someone tell me how to put solder that on to the led and prevent the led from burning out i want to mod so bad but i don't know how to power them remember I'm using 0603 smd leds so tell me how to i solder the cell phone charger to the 0603 smd led and make it light up without it burning out please make it very detailed OK i just want to know how to solder the cell phone charger on to the 0603 smd led
and make it light up without it burning out OK thanks.

how many volts is the charger?
maybe you jus need a resistor

a 9v battery clip.
remember that you'll need a resistor in there or else the LED will blow.
My systems:  -PSP 2001, CFW and PSP 3000 shell.  -PSP 1001, LED mods, custom firmware, speaker mods, sound reactive LEDs.  -Black NDSL, LED mod, 0.5x and 2x speed mod.

Soldering to smd can be tricky... here is a couple pointers.
1 take your time.
2 use tweezers to hold your led.
3 put a lil flux on the the ends of the leds.
4 get a good glob of solder on your gun. Make sure you have a nice fine clean tip.
5 just barely touch the led to the tip. very quickly. Do not sit on it for to long. This is just to tin the led.
6 next tin what you want to solder to the led and quickly solder the 2 together.
7 clean your led w alcohol to get the flux off.
8 be very careful assembling your soldered led as you can break of the solder pads.

9v seem a lil over kill.

There smoking because  your putting to much power into them  for the led to handle every led can only handle a certain amount of  voltage before it blows. 9v is way to much if there 0603 leds its most likely about 3 volts if you have the specifications for the lights  then look up the forward voltage of them.

just to give you an idea, the specs on the 0603 SMD leds i could find were all 4v. thats not necessarily what yours are though. supplying it with 9v is waay to much. try putting a series 270 ohm resistor with it to limit the current (for a 4v LED) a 3v a 300 ohm would be better.
