My Xbox 360 ''spartan" mod [[Updated Since a year ago]]

Hi All

so ife finally started on my xbox 360 Pro 20Gig HD, so i dont get the RROD and to have something unique

What Ife done so far:
- cut out the grill behind the stock fans for better airflow
- Cut-Out my window design
- placed my 60x60 and 40x40 inside
- added 3 switches on the top (in front of HDD)
- added a thermometer with probe (in front of HDD)
- Cut out see through DVD drive with window installed

Things Still to do
+ Buy PLexi and attach to chassis
+ Add some led strips
+ wire everything up (fans, Leds, potensiometer, switches)
+ Spray paint stark red with Gold trimming

Maybe still to do
> cut out HDD window with color changing led
> one more 40x40 fan

I'll update as i get chance

Pictures attached.. I kinda messed up on the DVD drive, but oh well

P.S lol im gonna sound like a total NooB now..
how do i add images, not using the attach feature..

looks good so far. you butchered your drive cover, i would just extend the bottom cut out, up to where you cut too far. then sand down the edges with a dremel. but those things are hard to cut, i screwed mine the first time i tried. to add images upload them to somewhere like photobucket and use the img tag

yea i tried cutting, the disc got used up pretty fast... and the sanding wheel doesnt do much either... will work on it again tommorow

Looking good so far, I would recommend that you downsize the pictures you uploaded so I can actually view them rather than having to scroll all around my screen to see little parts of it lol

Nice work Luigus, and I know your just getting started, so take your time smooth out the rough edges and be patient, dont have to try and finish it in one night. Your off to a good start and looks good so far. work on the dvd drive and maybe clean up around the fan where you cut it out and you will have an awsome looking xbox mod. keep us posted on the updates, and if you need any help feel free to ask.
