matrix controller d-pad death

i ve done a led rol switch bleu and white
works perfect

afther a half year the controller is draining full batterys in 2 minutes
put the bat. in a nother controller and they are full

second is that the d-pad isdeath
up down left right

nothing

if someone knows what it could be
please help
i dont know where to search

my profession is electricien so u can talk tech  lol

The batteries aren't being drained, the voltage of the controller is simply not high enough to fully illuminate the leds. I have this same problem with my controller which I put white leds in.
