ok gonna try and get this done before i head out to my nieces b day party after reading quite a bit last night and finally making sense of some of it
if you have a slim or xbox phat on or under 14699 and plan to rgh it go ahead and stay away from the update
far as phats it is a challenge to rgh if updated slims on the other hand are not much of a pain in the
due to they have 2 bootloaders not 1 like that phats
but this new update will update the efuse line 07 i believe thus rendering the rgh due to it changing your CF LDV value
but heres what ima do and report back my situation might be different because im rocking a dual nand set up but same concept nonetheless
if you wanna go ahead and test this out heres what ima attempt
have a slim on 14699 already reset glitched hacked MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR CPU KEY AND A COPY OF YOUR ORIGINAL NAND
flash back to your stock nand update to 14717
redo your glitch image multibuilder whatever program you use i used xebuild
after creating your fresh rgh img
fire up 360 flash tool im using 360 flash tool 0.95
choose your freshly created rgh img
where it says 6BL (CF LDV) patch 0 increase the number by 1 (example if says 4 increase to 5 6 increase to 7)
patch it and save it then reflash to your nand using whatever method you use
i use a nand x
also been reports that c4eva lt3.0 ixtreme isnt affected
ill keep working on this and update this post or if anyone has any solid info feel free to jump in
will be testing when i have a chance today or when my hangover goes away lol
FORGOT TO ADD TRY THIS ONLY TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE FIX AGAINST THIS DAM UPDATE
ONLY REASON IM DOING THIS IS TO FIX MY DUAL BOOT BECAUSE IF I DONT MAKE IT WORK HAVING A DUAL NAND IS PRETTY MUCH POINTLESS SINCE I DO USE THE SAME XBOX FOR HOMEBREW/XBOX LIVE
BUT LIKE I SAID IN THE END IF YOU HAVE NO REASON TO UPDATE DONT DO IT!!!!!
