matrix 2 controller vcc?

i got ahold of a silver matrix 2 controller looks like i can install hazers flex rf but where can i grab power from any ideas?

its matrix, so you will need an opto, at which point you can pull from the battery for main power.

isnt the point of an opto is because matrix cg2 etc have an unswitched power source meaning itll turn on without hitting the dome correct?
can i still use the battery power withut an opto i always take the battery packs out when im done using it anyway so not really n issue

The point of the OptoCoupler is to make a switched source, so it's on when the controller is on, off when it's off.

If you pull the batteries, then just use TP1 for the power on the Matrix2.
Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.
