i have tried it with a new chip, it still did the same. i believe that i have found the issue now tho. the contact for the positive was connected by tp5 which has an off state of 0.05v which means there is constant power to the chip. going to try drawing the power from an alternative point on the board.

Did you find a new point?

Which board do you use?

i keep having problems with this hex and topfire where as soon as i turn the rapid fire on the controllers trigers just go nut and the lights flicker funny btw im using a cg2 controller
same here, anybody know why this is happening? i am using a matrix 2 controller

i tried the new point but was not enough voltage from that point. i am still looking into alternative power points and a way to make it operate correctly.

When Play & Charge is connected this have an overload and maybe have trouble firing or another button, this is for all controllers CG 1 & 2, Matrix 1 & 2
The best way to use is with Rechargable battery.

I got this code in my wired controller and it works perfect, I will love to try the new code whenever it cames out!

I managed to run the code but it works backwards (LT and RT) takes all alone without pressing the trigger and when I press the rapid fire stops. Do you have a idea?

If you compare the voltages of the XB1(CG) triggers to the XB360(CG) triggers, the polarity is reversed.

So it's not surprising that it works opposite. But that's not the entirety of the problem.

The real problem is that the triggers for the XB360 are constantly being fed a voltage. So the mod can at anytime read the trigger positions.

With the XB1 though, the triggers are only fed a voltage when the controller wants to read them. If the mod tries to read when the  triggers aren't being powered then the mod will come back with a 0V which will likely trick it into thinking that the trigger is pulled (or in this case "released").

So there has to be something there to distinguish between a valid signal read and an invalid read(when the triggers are not powered).

of course I know very little about coding, but couldn't this be done by polling the trigger, then debounce and polling again until the voltage is present, then go into interrupt routine to fire.

I think that probably would work.

In my mind I'm thinking about the slew rate of Vout for the Hall. So if your algorithm was "look for any voltage over ~.25V" then as the Hall powers up and powers down you COULD get a voltage over .25V but not the true reading of the trigger (if you happened to read the triggers right then).

I was thinking something like "read the triggers twice in a row if the difference is less than X and the values are over .25V" then it's valid data.

...but I haven't tested it. I still might be missing something.
