jdm030- option button always pressed
« on: February 03, 2020, 07:10:16 PM »
Good evening.
The client brought me this control that took rain ...
The problem identified: option button is always pressed, I tested the button, everything is ok, woks normally and is not shorted.

Is there a component responsible for this button? or does the information go directly to the processor?
Ty for any help!

It goes directly to the MCU. I haven't tested the actual limit, but it doesn't have to be shorted to register as a button press. If the Tact has some corrosion inside of it or the trace or even BGA connections under the MCU are messed up that could be causing the issue.

Exact!
Actually, the button does not close short to give the signal, I made the removal and the problem is gone.
Button changed, everything working, thank you!
