Elite Controller 1698 - Wireless connectivity issue

I have an issue with my elite controller, not connecting via wireless anymore and only working when connected via USB. As soon as I disconnect it goes back to flashing slowly..

Tried all troubleshooting methods I can find on the Internet! Even gone as far as to replace the motherboard, which I thought would solve but the same problem persists.

This happens on multiple consoles, and is isolated to only this controller..

Anyone have any ideas what I can try next?
