BDM-030 no power

Have a BDM-030 that I received in a parts lot.

Controller literally looks brand new, no signs of damage, not even worn thumbstick rubber or buttons.

It doesnt power on or respond to any usb-c cables.

Known working battery doesnt kick start it on either.

The only broken looking thing is one of the gold speaker posts and that was my fault cuz I bent it and snapped it trying to unbend it lol

USB port on it has no damage.

Where should I start digging around with a multimeter to see if I can bring it back to life?

Or should I just consider it e-waste and steal parts off it?
