the video on my Xbox is all weird like...help please!

For some reason, the video is now getting all light colored and/or bright.  I found out that it's not the cable, but it's the a/v connector in the back!  Any ideas on how to fix it once I figure out how to open it???

seems like it since applying upwards pressure seems to fix it.

maybe the connection from it to the mobo in the xbox is getting loose, idk how it would happen but it might have

the mobo may not be settin correctly,or could be damaged from incorrect removal,i'd say a pin or two might be broke,break out a multimeter and test the continuity on the pins on the underside of the av connector to their corresponding pins on the av connector,if you get one or two with no continuity,try to set some solder in there to bridge the gap

I had this problem on my ps1 but it got dark so I would suggest finding a way to get the cable in the right way to make it normal then using tape or glue even to get it to stay.

Fixed the issue...and took apart my Xbox w/ a DREMEL.  It was fun =D  Now sound and video show up fine  ...now for a new case...

why would you ruin a case?!? you could just use alon keys to open it.

well, let's see....the person I bought it from GLUED IT SHUT!  So I couldn't just lift it off like you're supposed to be able to.  Otherwise I would have saved it, but oh well.

yea, I know...at least I didn't resort to any of the other power tools located in my garage....table saw, drill, miter saw...and the non powered ALL MIGHTY saw AND axe!
