well a month ago when i asked my mentor about it he said that irql is some thing with software and hardware working with eachother, you know with a specific perpouse or something (it was a while i cant remember exactly what he said) but im sure pcish people know more about it

anyway when there is an inconsistancy in either one tiny peice of either it gives a big f**k error, the screen goes blue and you get this scary text saying there's some error and s**t

its annoying, and annoying to recover from
i just spend 30 minutes rebooting this thing, and it would always do a disk check and hang afterwords, never starting, then out of the blue when im explaning it to my gramps, it decides to work

really annoying and frustrating, so i wanna know how to prevent it

also my mentor said a while ago when he had like windows 98 or 95, he had a hardware problem so that everytime video played that was supposed to have audio with it, he'd get an irql error (essentially all games and movies would f**k with his computer)
