I Just Got a New TV YAY

i got a Samsung LE40M87BD











1080P HD LCD Screen

1920x1080 Resolution

15000:1 Contrast Ratio

3 x HDMI
1 x Composite
2 x Scart
1 x PC
1 x Component

Its Great and i love it - all i need now is more HD sources other than sky HD to plug into it. i need to get me a ps3 or 360 (got a Wii already.

i will upload some personal photos when i get time to and have my camera

if you get a wii component cable, get a official one. I got a GAME brand cable and when i load up NES, SNES and sega games it says out of range.

Might just be my TV though.

Pretty nice tv, to bad they lied to yeah about the contrast ratio as it's dynamic instead of static.  It still beats most tv's in contrast though so you'll be enjoying a great picture regardless.

thanks im really liking it - we only got it as they had a 10% of sale and were giving us a free stand monster power cleaner surge protecter and a free set of monster hdmi cables

reaper thats what it said on the samsung website about the contrast ratio. whats dynamic and static as its got an option for mode as dynamic or standard or movie

Mine arrived today, Dynamic contrast Ratio adjusts it as it displays a picture, so the Static Contrast Ratio may be 10000:1 but If there was no white, it could reach 15000:1, I've got mine set to low.

Need to fiddle with the settings, as im getting little like jaggies around everything.

kwl nice to know yours came - the image ig kwl on my one strait out the box but once i get the rest of the stuff i want i will do a proper setup and calibration of the screen as i CBA doing it now - FYI there is on some dvds and HD disc movies a image quality calibration tool free but its only on some dvds cant remember whats its called and what dvds its on i think some of the terminator ones but dont quote me

Every single Blu-Ray has one, at least Sony movies do, you just need to go to chapter 7669 (sony) to use it.

Finally got my Sound back together! The Pic wit the small Tv is showing the Rear's, and then there is My PS3 Games and Blu Rays.
