PC or PS2 mod
« on: January 10, 2008, 03:31:18 PM »
I'm not sure whether to put this under PS2 or PC, but that's beside the point. Anywho, does anyone know where I can find a motherboard that will fit inside a PS2. I got a really cool idea. I thought about taking an empty PS2 fat case and putting PC components inside. Nothing crazy though, just enough to say that I have a PC inside a PS2 case. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

A Mini-ITX would fit nicely I think. I dont know the dimensions of a PS2 though. Use a slim slot load dvd and a laptop hard drive and something like an M2 power supply from mp3car and you should have a good start :victory:

i dont think your going to have enough clearance with a mini-ITX, it might fit with wise, but your going to run in to serious hight issues, you might want to try getting a used laptop and just dropping the mobo from that in a ps2 and using the video out form the laptop
