is that possiable to do myself? if possiable at all.

i did research didnt find that much.

but anyway i have a psp 2gb ms pro duo then i have a pda that takes sd cards
i would like to use the ms pro duo for my pda

srry if i didnt post this in the right place i wasnt really sure

Vss is negative voltage (ground). The data pins operate differently on the different cards, so some kind of chip has to translate the signal. The reason there are adapters for stuff like MS Pro Duo to MS is because the pins do the same thing, its just a different physical size/shape that needs adapted.

So buying one would be easiest, unless you're a genius, in which case you wouldn't be asking for help here.

Why on earth would you want to do that? Pro duo sticks are more expensive than SD cards.

dude. just search it micro sd pro duo adapter on ebay its right there for you. not only that why make one and risk messsing up your sd when you can just get a made adapter nice and ready to go for less than 10 bucks. good luck

There are micro sd to pro duo adapters so you could try screwing around a mini sd to sd adapter to see if you can make one, but honestly I just can't see how you could get it to work

I beleive you would need some kind of chip in between to convert signal types from MS to SD. I think I have seen alot of posts about people tryign to make an SD to MS converter for their PSPs. If you look into that they are doing basically you wanna do the exact same thing just reverse your wiring.

There are pinouts for sd and ms. Some pins are same, so it's easy to make adapter.

Won't work, doesn't use the same protocol. Just as useful as putting a USB connector on one end of an ethernet cable and trying to network 2 computers with it.

Who knows, maybe I'm wrong. But then, wheres the proof that that adapter actually works? If you try, I'd get a cheap card and card reader to test it with, just in case.

but if i can find one i can basically reverse it so that it is a ms pro duo to a micro sd adapter then just solder it up so that its not a micro sd its a sd

i still cant find a pinout if i could find one of those that would make live so much easyier
