hey guys...i havent been on in a while but im getting an xbox 360 with 3 red lights and ive called microsoft and asked them how i can send it in and get a new one...they sed i have to register it and i dont know if the previous owner had already registered it...is there anyway to unregister it? and is there a way to check if it was opened already?

I dont really understand what they mean by registering it.... As for seeing if it was opened, take the faceplate off and if it wasnt opened there should be a chrome looking sticker that says microsoft over a seem... I'd take a pic of mine but I tore it off  :laughing: or you can take the little rubber feet off the side, under one of the feet there will be a thin layer of a plastic material, and if opened will have an indent in the plastic... I'll post a pic if I can actually get a picture of it

First check to see if its got Warranty, as Skull said, if it does ring M$ and ask to register, say it was second hand, and they'll re-register it to you.

Agreed.

Good grammar along with formal style clothing scares me.
