mini amps to louden speakers......

ive done a search and got some mp3 software but wont boost the sound of my speakers. i was thinking of putting the little mini amps used from the sound reactive lights as a mini speaker amp. just wanted to know if anyone tried it or if it would actually work?

or you could bridge the speakers together and that would make the ohms divide by 2, meaning less resistance meaning the speakers would be twice as loud, only downside would be that  it would be Mono rather than stereo (can't really tell the difference anyway)

or do what i did which i was quite surprised at either make the speaker holes bigger, when like that they are two times louder anyway, especially if you cup them in your hands, but making the speaker hole bigger works aswell or my favorite option, take a 1 mm drill and put about 5+ holes where the speakers are, there is a significant increase in volume

you can try that but idk how it'll look and you can just format your audio to play louder i know in itunes you can do that

thanks for the suggestions and tips. ill try out the mini amp things when i get back from vacation. if that is a no go ill try out the bridging speakers.
