...at Best Buy which is opening a new store really close to my house! I hope I get the job, Videogames and Music and a Sales Supervisor is what I filled out for....so I'm going to cross my fingers and hope I get the job(s)!!!!

i think if you do get the job you can end up witht the deal PvP gets
he works at best buy and gets that employees discount section where he can buy like his 16gb itouch for $100

Out of curiosity what is the average / minimum wage for a 16yo in teh US?

like in UK its $8.20ish an hour for part time work im on $8.50 but my manager wants me on $15 an hour which is nice

just the lawyers are having none of it, damn charity run organizations :angry2: I only work like 14 hours week tho hence the need for additional business

For a full time job in the uk, its the law that you must be earning atleast £4 something an hour (its like £4.16)

Bestbuy does not give employee discounts on Apple products.

And as for starting wage its either $7.75 or $8 an hour

Whoever asked the minimum wage question. IT depends but here in Florida, it's $6.67, and usually most jobs now round it to $7, not much eh? I've had 6 different jobs, all in food cept for one, and they paid $6.40 (<that was the old minimum wage) to $7 (<This was before the minimum wage raise

). Sometimes the benefits in my job outweighed the pay, which was kind of sad but still good XD

Bleh well I've been busy ya know, doign a computer programming class in my virtual school, getting ready to go to a school play (just to see my friends), and getting a ds from a friend for 40 bucks

, it's one of the first versions, so I'ma mod the hell outta it and sell it off

. Anyway on topic, best to apply for a job when you're 16, and try not to go for the easy fast food jobs. I've had 5 jobs doing that, and it's embarassing, :censored:ty at best, and just plain not worth all the stress built on you for it.

Ok so basically its the same UK has a marginally higher minimum wage but thats jsut because of the exchange rate glad we got that sorted.

And I agree with whoever made the fast foos job comment, I use the toilet in mcdonalds, you'd understand if you lived in aberdeen, and I jsut laugh at every single worker and now mose of them try to avoid me.

Animal Welfare is where the moneys at

Of course it helps if you get A LTO of additional benefits because your aunts the manager

Minimum wage in the UK i believe is £4.25... it recently increased or something.. in my last job i was on £4.85 an hour and made the equivilant of around $3000 in the summer months

was sooo good spendin it all but ive recently quit and become broke lol go me!!

the average for the US would be around 6.50 after taxes...

yeh we dont get charged taxes until earning £5000 a year i think. also 18 the minumum is £5.55 i think.
