 :help: My b  day is comin up and i would like to have LEDs on my L and R buttons,Umd drive, D-pad, and the other side (i forgot the name lol). But i don't know how, i've never soldered before and i probably don't have the stuff to do it. plz give me a full tut.  If i did this and had to solder it what kind of places could i go to? So plz acidmods.com pimp my psp. :beg:

That is the unfinished tutorials section, a kind of misnomer, since the tutorials are mainly done other than images, that were lost due to the move from the Wiki format we used to have to the format it now has.

look around here theres tutorials and help with majority of problems and even a section on how to solder
i wouldnt jump right into the psp mods right away if you havent soldered before u could really mess up your psp

go get ur solderin iron at radio-shack (15-20 watt) use rosin core solder. and u might find ur leds at radio-shack but if they dont have go to mouser.com and search for 0603 blue LED (or w/e color u want) hope ur mod works out :victory:

im not sure about that ur best chances is more like ebay



and as far as i kno blue doesnt require resitors

and i used a 25 watt but if ur compellety new to soldering use a 15 wat coz they get so hot the diode blows

happy birthday and good luck on your mods,but if you have never soldered i would recomend finding stuff around your house that is cheaper than a psp to practice on,and get somewhat good at it before you go to you psp it is an expensive thing to make a silly mistake on.
