I just did this again today. Tut: https://www.acidmods.com/Wiki/tiki-index.php?page=%20PSP%20Led%20Swap%20by%20-Neubit- scroll to half way down where the power led one starts

on a scale of 1-10, how hard will this be for a person with moderate soldering skills.

and a fine tipped iron, lol I don't use flux :P can't afford another flux pen atm and I find the paste stuff hard to use.

keep in mind it can be a little tricky and 0603 is a standard not all of them are the exact same size.

hey 2 out of 10 man can I see a pic of your soldering? :w00t:

hey 2-5 out of 10 dosent seem to bad. Ive only done the USB charge mod but I did it without solder. I've only soldered to my psp once. I soldered a led to the hold switch and it lights the ac port. I need to re-do the USB with solder though. I'd like to make the power led blue and the charge bright red.

I also think this is pretty easy. just remove the old led, solder the power led, then the charge leds other end and one wire. i did this sum month ago and it was my first mod (i think). took only some 15min from a kid like me.

But im not very good at soldering, ive seen that psp phat screen wiring, it was awesome, i could never do it! :#1:

so like 2-3 out of 10.
