« on: May 31, 2008, 01:48:14 PM »
all it does is jailbreaks?

how do you change the boot screens?

what happens if you use it on a ipod that has been jailbroken (by ziphone)?

thx

cuz i really dont want to restore, have to reupload- 1400+ songs, 20ish videos, and 4 pages of apps

It can also flash the OS to the iPhone if you brick it but it essentially only jail breaks

what it does is it pwns the iphone which allows for unsigned code and firmwares to be installed on it i.e. custom constructed firmwares using the ipsw builder and in turn allows for you to have custom boot and restore images. so in theory it opens up the touch and iphone to a linux firmware.

i used both the windows version and the mac version and both work great.

so its like a one stop shop as it does everything from pwn-jailbreak-custom images-install apps.

i think its worth it plus its all i have ever used and it doesn't take that long to put music etc back onto it

i do recommend it

i am not responsible for what i do or my advice

i have usb 1, not 2.0, so even for 30 songs it takes like 15 mins, imagine the 900 i have on this computer...900/30=30x15=450/60=7.5 hours to download it all, and then the 500 at my friends house, and all the apps, and everything else, im looking at about 10 hours of work total, not counting time inbetween sessions

i would do it, but im just not willing to right now, but thanks for the answers

What? But a USB 2.0 PCI card, there cheap and you can't keep using USB 1.1/1.0

you can put all the applications into the firmware file before restoring your ipod so there isnt need to use installer when your on there. and as for the songs plug it in overnight and it will be ready in the morning
