Modded help

This is my first modded controller(its old style and wireless) and i bought the buttons and have the screw driever to open the back. The only real question i have is which side of the lep player one to solder. The lep that i have to solder also seems muchh smaller then the other part i have to solder. Any tips or anwsers  :hifive:

ya  my bad theirs to sides on it and im not sure which one to solder closer to the top or towards the bottom, Its also a very small area to solder

You're doing the no chip rapid fire? Sounds it since you said you only bought buttons...

In that case, left side of the player 1 led.

If not, why are you even soldering to the leds? Hahaha.

dont solder to the led look at this post  https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?topic=17135.0
here they show two points to solder to, and tell you to pick one. use the bottom one on the face of the board. if you follow the tracer from the bottom of the led you can follow this to a small hole where it terminates, 30 gage wire will fit into this hole, drop a small bit of solder onto it and wala. In my openion the led is too risky to mess with.
