Why is lead free solder not recomended

I was reading the soldering tutorial and it says that lead free solder is not recomended, just wondering why, and if i should go get my money back.

You can use it it's not gonna do anything...

I always use lead free solder...

yea tho some lead free solder melts at a higher temp, so you may need a better iron (becarefull not to melt you projects into oblivion). And dont try solder something with leadfree solder if one side has been tinned with led solder, doesn't work to well :#1:
