Welcome to AcidMods Forum. Okay! To begin, there's really no short cut in doing this project. Not recommended for beginers. Psp would have to come apart. Gently remove the two screws thats locking in the buttom hinges of the umd door. With a thin knife or small blade, pry out the umd door. Next, with a heat gun or hair blower, slightly heat up the area of the metal ring to soften up the glue and gently separate. With a dremel tool (highly recommended), cut out the center area in a circular motion. Smooth out the outer area with a fine emery cloth or sand paper and replace it with either a home made plastic see thru window or proffesionally made jewel. From this point on you are going to need Kynar wire, solder gun, glue gun, heat shrink tubes, 10 ohmn resistor and finally, smt 0630 LED's (color of your choice). I hope this helps you out.
