we need to design a lot of electronic components in school for cars and design new car componants to.
and i hate to have a usb tablet.
and this thing can use car diagnostic systems.

That is a pretty awesome laptop.
I have the macbook pro for school and I absolutely adore it but I can see that touch screen coming in handy.

ya im gettin a new laptop in about 4 months when i start college and ima probably spend around 1800$ - 2200$ Usd. Probably gettin a alienware, but idk the touchscreen would be pretty damn sweet.

tablets, in most cases, use a pen and are 1 piece and dont have a keyboard/ many moveable parts...suxh as disk drives etc.
thats just a touch screen laptop, in which you use your finger,
they use different technology because the ones you use with your finger have to determine where you are actually trying to push instead of a large circular area using a special kind of digitzer similar to apples.
where as a tablet uses a pen, but not just any pen, it has( somesort of signals to complete the circuit...or simply magnets lol) and if you ever look at the hardware that allows you to use the pen it is pretty interesting(ripped apart a broken NEC LCD that had a digitizer from wacom ill upload pics

)

no, this laptop uses your fingers

EDIT: I was wrong this laptop also has a tablet feature, sorry forgot to look before speak
I dont like "touch screens" tho, because you get finger prints and nasty

well im gettin a new laptop for college in a few months. do you guys think it would be better to get an alienware one, or get one like this, but pretty much the highest specs hp allows because i can spend about 2000$ usd. i really like the touchscreen and tablet use on this, but it doesnt have as high of specs as an alienware one.

2.4 dualcore amd is enough.
4gb ram is more than enough to.
the grafics is shared to it will use the ram, and because the ram is enough it will get along fine

i got a alienware laptop to, that will become gaming laptop, and this laptopwill be for school
