so my girlfriend's kid bought a psp 2001 with the ''non-hackable'' mobo.  :censored:

i was wondering, can i buy an older used mobo like a v2 or v1 and then swap it in????  i could hack it then, right???

but in the end i just sent the psp to get the money back and bought a refurbished phat... much easier... thanks anyway guys!!!

That is the only unhackable slim mobo so any other one would work. The only thing is i think that mobo has a extra zif connector for the analog and all the other mobo's don't have that so i think the best thing to do is just get a different used psp

Good luck :psp:

are you sure for the extra connector??? where can i check that... i'm used to my phat PSPs (so much simpler, and heavier)

i never opened a slim but there are many photos on the web, but none from the ta088v3 mobo... how can i be sure???

**if i ever buy another...
