guitar hero 360 usb controller help?

okay, i want to light the 5 fret button up when pressed, so what ive done is ive made 5 molds for the buttons ive got the lights they are blue, and ive replaced the rubber padding with microswitches that are qired to the fret boards circuit.  ive no clue what to do because the light need 3v and the frets need a voltage on average of 0.35 volts.  would someone please help me?

I don't have the controller though maybe I can help you. If the controller is USB powered, try getting some wires directly from the connector since power from the connector is at 5V. Then use a resistor or two and you should be fine.
