Decent external battery?

Hey all,

I'm going on a flight that will last around 18 hours next month (fun fun fun) and i'm looking for a decent external battery to get me a good part of the way there. 

I saw the AAA battery mod and it does look awesome, but i'm very apprehensive about taking any kind of home made electronics on the plane with me for obvious reasons.  So, has anyone here managed to find a decent external battery for their psp?  OR even an internal one, just one that provides good lifespan.

I was looking at this.  I have a feeling it's going to be dissapointing but i'm still tempted:

i do remember seeing something. it was either a hard drive or a battery. it like clipped onto the back of the psp and pllugged into the av jack

but that ebay one does look a bit dissapointing. youd probbly be better off buying an extended life battery for the psp. unless 1800mah is the extended.

try dealextreme when it comes back up online.  They have a lot of them for sale.

Or you can do something similar to these: (I'm assuming you have a usb & charge cable for the psp)

You can also get one of those AA battery holders with a 9v clip you can interchange them.  I think radioshack sells them.  Just remember to TEST it on something you don't care about before using it on the psp!

I'm going to Taipei, lol, so i'll be able to buy a crapload of cheap electronics.  But yeah, flight connecting twice.  Looking forward to it though 

Thanks for the suggestions from all of you, I think i'm gonna try and build one of those instructables chargers and just hope it's cool.

the instructables chargers I have been thinking about making for a while. Fairly easy to make, and cheap. Trying to think of a way to internalize it though...
