Like, they've reached the final leg.

Finally, a homebrew enabler that lets homebrew run in both user AND kernel mode.

all they need is custom firmware.

id prefer to just a buy a slim, i dont see that much of a differnce, if anything its worse.... and the internal mic isnt worth it...

I agree. Plus the 3000 is heavier. But what I'm saying is that it isn't THAT bad. I'd prefer it over a 1000.

I suppose that when it gets hacked, everything will be just like the psp 2k except that some homebrew app using the microphone can be developed. I hope they keep up the good work. Maybe they can even develop a custom firmware that improves the music player so it can be synced with Windows Media Player or iTunes and display album art and other info on the songs. Coverflow would be nice too.

Next time try not too bump old topics.

If you go and check it out on google, they aren't hacked.

The program was never released for a few reasons.

So as of now, there is no way to hack the 3000.

Actually, the program WAS released, but then it only runs on a user-level, not kernal-level so you can't flash the firmware or anything. Oh and speed, please don't use so many emoticon things.. It's annoying. Welcome though

I didn't look at what program it was, but there was a homebrew enabler shown off that could execute user and kernel level homebrew.

But there was something about it going against what DAX said, so it was never released.

It was based off of the GripShift exploit.

Shame it was patched in the 5.03 update.

ah hello everyone as you might know im pretty noob to psp
but im very interested into this and im gonna start modding and hacking,
ive been doing alot of flash and programmin before but all this is very new! ^^
i'll scout and snatch every information available about psp,
been checking pandoras battery and such but i was wondering..
the PSP-3004 model .. is it hackable yet? cus its the only version i can buy atm ..
if theres any exploit that gives permition to access its memory in the motherboard..
it should be flashable.. but im not sure if someone has succeeded yet to flash the entire motherboard firmware as ive noticed its in the CPU .. by some security stuff from sony.. im sorry if i sound complicated and wierd.. im from sweden ^^; and this is my first post.. anyways i would happily appriciate any info i could get on the PSP-3004 model thanks in advance guys!
