« on: January 31, 2009, 08:58:51 PM »
What does it means when the wifi, memory stick and power LEDs turns on together after putting in a magic memory stick and a pandora battery in place and nothing happends afterwards? Screen completely black and no flickering of the leds. This out of a psp phat. Thanks....

Um maybe it's a blind install? Either that or something is wrong with the memory stick. Nothing is wrong with your psp which you can easily check for yourself.

Thanks for your reply but can you explain to me in details, what you mean about a blind install. Second, about the memory stick, I just finished using the magic memory stick on another psp that was accidentally bricked and was unbricked successfully.

A blind install is when nothing is displayed on the psp screen but the menu is still there. Try pressing X when the wifi and memory stick led turn off.

Thats what I thought the blind installed really meant. About pressing the X button, its all I've been doing but no result. The wifi and memory stick leds stays steadily on and on and on. Could this be a hardware brick problem? and if so, is there a chance of fixing it.. Thanks...

Um well I'm not to sure but it could be your memory card reader. Try using a different memory card if that doesn't work then it could be the memory card reader.

Does your psp work with the AC adaptor?

Well, my memory card reader is fine and fully functional.  When plugging in the ac adapter to the psp, yes, it powers on but after a few seconds later it turns itself off. It also charges the battery without a problem. This has become a frustrating situation, please help.
