Well, I'm not too sure about the word cheap, but I do know exactly where to get it.
Find it at http://www.ic2005.com/shop/product.php?productid=59&cat=0&page=1
It'll set you back $59, and that doesn't include postage. Still, they're the official manufacterers so, unless it's second hand, that'll be the cheapest you get it.

It needs homebrew though, not %100 there is a public one yet

If you want to experiment, you can always build your own one, although it looks complicated, eh, have fun and buy about $2 in parts and save $57 lol

Hoi! Pinoy ako!

Yes, it would rock to find out how it's done. Probably quite simple.
Also, there IS a plugin for this so you can play LocoRoco with it (http://exophase.com/psp/locoroco-motion-plugin-099-2889.htm).
And I don't see why the plugin can't be modified either to support any controls.

EDIT: Just found something of use on YouTube. Even though it's quite bulky, you can do this just with an old PS1/PS2 controller, by doing that mod where you wire it up to the analog module (done by BenHeck), and then putting a weight onto the stick. You could then remove some of the top of the analog for practicality, and then you will need the special PSP Keymapper. That's a plugin that will change what buttons do, so it'll translate the signals of the sensor going left to the R button, and of the stick going right to the left button. By the way, the reason that right>L and left>R is because the analog would be facing away from the PSP so that when it went left it would be moving towards the right analog stick. Sounds like a project to me :D

That'll cost you pretty much nothing, and it is easy to do.

it's pretty easy to make. just build two of these, one for up and down and the other for left and right.
