well,
today I lost something
worth over $5000
but I am not sad, and I am 100% sure where it is
I GOT MY BRACES OFF W0000000000000000000000000000000000000000T
after 2 long years, I finally have them off, but I cant talk (irl) because this retainer gives me a lisp

OMG gratz! I had my braces off like 2-4 weeks ago and I have to say I feel GREEEAT! I don't look weird anymore and the best part is, the dentist told me I don't need a retainer!

It must suck with the retainer though... All my friends needed them.

That'd suck sooo much. My dentist said to clench my teeth every once in a while, and he said I'm still growing so a retainer would be bad.

I had braces...never needed a retainer. You have no idea what you're talking about.
Had mine 2 years, got them off, and it's been 8 years since I had them and no problems.

Also, braces aren't $5000.

ye huh, youu have to facto in what insurance paid for...

my cuz had his for 8 years, because the dentist when bankrupt, then they moved, then they didnt have enough money, but he finally got them off

wow you guys pay for you braces. i had mine for 3 years and had checkups every 3-6 months and each time new wires and bands then a retainer for 1 year. and it all cost me nothing but the petrol to get to him

i still got my retainer been wearing it for almost a year now and yea the lisp pisses me off also i stutter more when i wear them too for some reason anyway i get to stop wearing them next month yay

O_O Who paid for your braces? My dad's company pays 50% so we only paid like, 400 bucks I think. Had it for like 7 months, and every month I got the new bands.

i go every month for checkups and sometimes new wires, taking appliances out/in etc.

wear ur damn retainer! that is generally the number one reason why people need to go back and have braces put on again. Your teeth can still move back, hence the retainer.

(my girlfriend was an Orthodontic Assistant for several years)

Never had braces before

Some reason my teeth stay completly straight even though the amount of stress I put them through (Ever had candy cane? Bloody pulls your teeth hard, yet I have it like everyday when I can, unfortunaly they dont have it in this country

Its like free sweets
