Question about cr-3100 internal
« on: February 23, 2009, 09:10:47 PM »
I recently internalized my cr-3100 into my psp; however, i just noticed that the loading (little circle) keeps on going everytime i close the umd cover.  I was reading somewhere there being a switch to tell the psp that the umd drive is still in it.  Can anyone give me the location of the switch? thanks

EDIT: I just noticed that while closing the UMD door there's a little pin that gets pressed down telling my psp that there is a UMD drive in there when there really isnt.  Should i dremmel the UMD door so it will not press on it?

I removed the swich and found it resolved the problem. If your not going to reinstall the umd drive on yourpsp i would recommend just taking out the swich or trimming it.
