Someone help troubleshoot/fix my xbox 360?
« on: March 16, 2009, 02:22:16 PM »
hey guys, just wanted to see if someone can give me hand in trouble shooting my xbox.
It's a pro 20GB ( HDMI ) not sure what board, for positive, but if someone can tell me how to tell, i can easily find out. It's getting the 0001 error code, saying that it's a power supply problem. I tried the xbox in 3 different power supplies including it's own, to find out that it gets the measly 3rrod still. If you guys have any more suggestions that i can troubleshoot the xbox with, let me know. Or a link to more info on that one. Also if it needs something soldered, anyone up for a job?
Thanks
-Andy

please clarify, what power source you are using? (the three other than its own??3 other wall outlets??)

also what is the light doing on the POWER BRICK? the one that came with the xbox? what color is it? it should be one color when it is off and another color when you turn the xbox on.

I tried 3 different power " bricks " ( the bulky grey thing that's external from the xbox )
Three others, and it's own.. all in different wall sockets.

Going to green. Orange/yellow when it's off.
