i am in an argument on another forum about all ps3's playing ps2 games.  this was his response


"Besides its not like the discs are any different from PS3 games that much same size so they play on PS3s duh >.>"

and my response was "by that logic i could play 360 games on a PS1 or PS3 games on a dreamcast."

i tried it on my new 80gb it sayd not compatible :( what firmware he on?
also i did hear that they just randomize wether theyr b/c or not.

That's because 80gb has no backwards compatibility as far as I remember...

the latest PS3s dont have backwards compatibility...(unsure about 160gb) good thing ive got a launch 60gb PS3  :#1:  which, the warranty was up so i modded hahaha (keep your eyes peeled theres a possibility ill be selling it soon!)
