cod4/5 rapid...knife?

okay i was wondering if you could do a 555 timer knife for cod4/5 just seems like a cool idea and why do some guns in cod5 shoot slower than others with rapid fire...  like i use gherwer or whatever its called and it shoots slow and unreliable then i pull out m1a1 carbine and i shoot about 6-7 bullets a sec no cap is there a way to fix this im using the radioshack brand 555 timer with momentary switch

No you couldn't rapid knife; the game itself won't allow you to knife more than a certain speed.

Different guns have different timings. That was one of the few drawbacks of the 555 is that it is not easy to quickly change the timing that is needed for certain weapons.
