Resistors for lm386,
« on: July 10, 2009, 08:52:29 PM »
Yes yes I know it's generally not a good idea to string resistors together to make a certain amount of resistance. But I think it's silly to pay $6 for shipping if I'm only buying $0.50 in parts. So do you think I would be OK to combine the following:

100K + 47K + 33K + 10K + 1K = 191K Ohm

and

10K + 10K +10K = 30K Ohm

personally i would string so many together.... try and get like 200ohms instead of 191. (2x 100ohm resistors)

and for 30ohms try to get like a 20ohm and a 10ohm  :#1:

My rat shack doesn't stock 20,

Also I would be adding 2 speaker LEDs so I don't want to go OVER 191 K as for the tutorial l0rdnic0 is only using 2. So I am already pushing it.
