my 0020 problem
« on: September 01, 2009, 07:37:27 PM »
my xbox has been a pain in the  :censored: lately

ive fixed the 0102 and its been working great and now i have a 0020 have any of you guys fixed it and how?

ive heard that its just a general short

ive replaced the x-clamps with the team hybrid uni-clamp
penny fix
core coolers are soldered in straight to a 12v source

it red rings off of a cold start if its been running and u just restart it its fine
i did notice that it gets touchy when i mess with the hdd and i found and i fixed the 0020 one time by wiggling a capasitor thats under the disc drive...that worked like 5 or 6 times then that stoped working

0020 GPU Malfunction, similar to error 0102

these xclamps and penny fixes are temp fixes.. let me clarify:

THERE IS NO PERMINATE FIX FOR THE RROD!!!!!

anytime someone claims they have a perminate fix....watch your wallet

thats about it. once they RROD they are done, you can prolong the inevitable for a while, but eventually it is going to die.

wetfusion, Unless this is what your talking about. its not reballing.
Reballing x box 360
you probably mean reflow, or heat gun method
