Need help finding a transistor for a mod!!!

Ok, so I am doing a 360 dome LED mod and I need a transistor that has to complete a connection when about 1.5-2v is applied to the pin.  All i need is a link to the transistor.  I will also post a tutorial on this.  This is to make it a switched power supply.  Thnks!!!

try this.
you can use pretty much any transistor.... i use a 2n2222 same as the 1 used in modded matts 555timer rapid fire.....
conect it up like so.

connect 'base' (B) of the transistor to any switched powersupply point on the controller (2v is fine) connect the fixed powersupply (mic) point to the 'collector' (C). Lastly.. connect the 'emitter' (E) to the leds + side.

Should work fine

im only guessing here but your doing this on a matrix type controller yeah????????

yeah, any NPN resistor should work. i either use 2n2222's or 2n3904's

yeah it just needs to complete connection when t4 is powered.  so these 2n2222 things will be set off by that low voltage.?

Collector= Supply Voltage

Base=1.8v (or whatever it is)

Emitter=LED+
