LED Problems
« on: September 15, 2009, 09:05:22 AM »
Hi i am new at modding i had recently put in 0603 LED and was wondering why the right trigger is dimmer than the Left side. I know that the wires are soldered in good, is it the position of how the LED is or is it not getting enough power? And also will this fit on my power light when i switch it http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=7844.

i found while doing the led mod some leds are faulty. for future reference you should test them before finishing the mod. i would say to replace the led if possible.

My money's on you not using a resistor and/or not positioning the led's symmetrically.

If you soldered them to separate speakers, try soldering both to the same speaker.
