Getting Ready For A New Laptop
« on: October 23, 2009, 07:49:21 PM »
So it has come time to purchase a new laptop. Here is what I plan to get:

Intel Core2 Duo processor T9900 (3.06GHz 1066MHz 6MBL2)
Windows 7 Professional 64
15.4" WSXGA+ TFT, w/ CCFL Back light
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator x4500HD with vPro
8 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM)
UltraNav mouse with Fingerprint Reader
128 GB Solid State Drive, Serial ATA
Intel Turbo Memory 2GB
Dual layer DVD Burner
Express Card Slot & Smart Card Reader
Integrated Bluetooth
Intel WiMAX/WiFi Link 5150
9 cell Li-Ion Battery

Figured I might as well post here since I've already gotten my head bitten off for it >.<;

It's pretty sweet except for the graphics.

What model is it?

An upgraded ThinkPad T500 2242. I don't do much PC Gaming so I am not worried about the graphics much. I am pretty loyal to IBM so it all works for what I do, mostly programming. As for games I am content with the beta for heroes of newerth a friend and i are playing. My first PC game in a while.

How much is this costing?
