led wiring

ok so i got all my leds soldered and they all work but i tried putting my psp back together again and they wont work now i think its cause my wires arent in good areas could someone tell me where i could find a pic of someones led mod totally finished so i know where to run my wires.  Thanks

what i would guess is that one of your LEDS grounded out on some shielding, the psp has a buttload of shielding.

another thing, i personally dont use the magnet wire, if that is what you are using.... the resin comes off of it quite frequently causing shorts and failures. i only use that in extreme cases, or places where there isnt metal for it to ground out on.

ok so to prevent shortages would i use electrical tape or something

what i used was some stuff called gorilla glue at the bottom of my leds it dries like caulking or hard foam and is a good isulator only thing is u have to let it dry b4 u put them in otherwise it will just glue it to the psp and then ur screwed sideways
