I think Hawk is the guy that uses the TINY wires from headphones or it looks like its just Magnetic Wire

You can get it online, just search 30 Gauge Magnetic Wire   but be warned its thin but easy to short because there is little protective coating on it.

watch this stuff, its dangerous, especially the thinner stuff, as jumbo said it only has a thin insulating enamel coating which can scape off easily without noticing, leaving bare wire which could cause a short. I highly recommended kynar wire as the insulation is thicker and much more durable.

in my opinion i think that any wire can be used no matter how thick the insulation is. Once you work with it for a while you get used to how to strip the wire, basically how to work with it. As for new modders, they should stick with kynar wires for now or forever xD because it has a thicker insulation so itll have a less chance in shorting out and it would be troublesome.

don't feel bad, all the real modders, and pro's use kynar. Example Arioch_76 who needs thinner wire when you can fit this much kynar in a psp.

There is a plastic coating, you need to burn the wire to expose the copper wire.

Or if your solder is hot enough to burn the plastic coating.

If you have a headphone try to tester the the wires and you will know that its coated with plastic.

If you can check my thread, I'm using it on all my mods.

Those sir are electricity conducting wires.

Oh, you wanna know what type?

The correct term is acrylic wire, I don't recomend using them unless your pro.
