Is there anyway to make the mic? Or can I use something else?

I know that there are several home made MIC's that have been made and I know that the SOCOM MIC works with Talkman instead of just using the USB one meant for it.

So I imagine that it is more then possible to make your own MIC.

I have read that the talkman mic works with socom, and the socom mic does work with talkman game. if you have the remote you could wire in another headset, someone posted the other day that the jack top to bottom is left audio, right, ground, mic.   or when you look at the bottom of the psp face up, the top left pin is mic input, and the top middle is ground

depends on what method you would use.

a speaker works as a mic, but I dont think it would sound as clear, or as loud

yeah I needed a microphone in a pinch. so I plugged in a set of earbuds into my computer, and it works, but I had to speak kinda loud for it to come out sounding normal.

I think I am just going to get a phone handset. Also, if I want to use it, do I have to make it go through the PSP remote?

EDIT: How to I make a speaker into a mic?

input, and ground connections, but like i said it isn't going to be as loud unless you wired in a preamp.

go with the headset
