PSP PHAT REPAIR HELP
« on: March 18, 2010, 07:20:39 PM »
hey i got a really cheap psp from eBay last week it was like 12$ lol but there was a catch of course i need parts that i don't know what they are called first the part under the []ox/\ buttons the circuit and the wire that is connected to it from the back of the memory stick circuit.
then second problem the power Fuse isn't even there the small slot for the Screen has no lock on it, oh yeah its also missing like a couple of important screws. All i need to know is where i can get that circuit broad under the []ox/\ buttons here is a picture

agreed with bud....side note, where have u been?....you are missing the "power board"  and above the power board, next to the power connector (do you have that? two wires with the yellow charge port on one end and white connector on the other) I cant see in the picture, but appears to be the backlight fuse, just bridge the connections together. as for the ribbon connector, that is the worst part of the whole mess. try to plug it in and hot glue it in place????

good luck. I guess the old saying, you get what you pay for applies here.

Edit: the wifi antenna. It enables wifi usage. Found a site, it's $4.99:

its could be alot of things. hell the old owner could of dropped it in the toilet and everything could be F'ed.
it could be teh switch on ur pwr board. make sure everythings working. id tell u to run off of ur ac power and not use the battery to check to see if its working( thats if ur not doing it already). also be sure ur bridged correctly. if u know what teh fuse looked liek and realy wanted to replace it im sure u could find on on the interwebs.
